The Blackboard Eraser is an item found in Silent Hill: Downpour. It is located in the theater of St. Maria's Monastery inside a chest in the cottage on the stage. It is rewarded to Murphy Pendleton, alongside a poem fragment, for completing the Hansel and Gretel puzzle.

It is used to erase a chain on a chalk board in the second floor classroom, revealing another chalkboard drawing of a boy flying a kite, which triggers Murphy to have a flashback about his son.
