Bryan Handley

Bryan Handley is a prison captain that works at Ryall State Prison in Silent Hill: Downpour.

Biography[]

Glen Milton put him in charge of investigating all segregation and isolation procedures, and any possible people involved, after the murder of prison inmate, Patrick Napier. After information was obtained from Frank Coleridge in regards to the corrupt nature of corrections officer George Sewell, he began an aggressive investigation into the allegations, hoping to link the two together.

Trivia[]

His name is a reference to Byron Hadley, Captain of the Guards at Shawshank Prison in the Stephen King novella/film The Shawshank Redemption. However, there is no indication he shares any personality traits with his corrupt and violent namesake.
