Clayton Doyle is the late husband of Carol Doyle. Little is known about him, other than what is told through documents spread throughout the Grand Hotel.
Clayton Doyle was an employee of the Grand Hotel, likely in a high position. During the last days of his life, he stayed in a suite of the Grand Hotel, where he would receive oxygen tanks. He found comfort in his last days by spending time with Carol in the atrium.
Before he died, he discovered the affair his wife had with Sam Bartlett, the very person who helped restore the atrium. This broke his heart, and he told Carol through a note that he couldn't forgive her.
Clayton Doyle was buried in Dargento Cemetery.
