A Dog House is a common facility designed to provide a home for canines and is often designed to look like a diminutive house. They are made from a variety of materials, such as wood. Generally, families keep their pet dogs here, though sometimes they are used to hide keys. For example, Harry Mason finds a house key. James Sunderland finds a key inside a dog house.
Alex Shepherd and his family have a dog house in the backyard of their home, though Alex is confused as to the whereabouts of the family pet.
In Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, on the opposite side of Levin Street from where the Stewarts live, there is a house with a dog house in the front yard. This can be seen after Cybil Bennett picks up Harry Mason from 1206 Levin Street by looking to the right the first time Cybil stops her police car.
