The Greenfield Apartments are located in the northerneast area of Central Silent Hill located on Acadia Road. It appears in Silent Hill: Origins as one of the areas Travis Grady passes through to reach his main destination.
It is smaller than Riverside Motel; however, it is close to Artaud Theater and a small chapel. It was most likely used to allow people to experience the culture of Silent Hill. The rooms are rather large, allowing a wider range of people to bunk and enjoy the area. A dead Straightjacket is found here, hinted at being the handiwork of the Butcher.
Andy, owner of Andy's Books, owns apartment 213, the mailbox for which is overstuffed and highlighted in blue. Later on, Travis has to type in the apartment's number into the bookstore's register in order to get the key to unlock the back door and exit.
Trivia[]
- 213 was the room number of the Oxford Apartment complex where serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer drugged, strangled, raped, murdered, and later stored many of his victims. Considering the theme of the room in the Otherworld version, some influence may have been drawn from this.
