Hotel South Ashfield is a location in Silent Hill 4: The Room. The hotel is one of the prominent locations near Henry Townshend's apartment building and is viewable from his windows. It is marked by large red letters that display the hotel's name.
Silent Hill 4: The Room[]
The hotel is visited as part of Walter Sullivan's twisted Building World, along with other nearby buildings. Henry is only able to explore the exterior of the hotel building, which includes the outer stairways, the rooftop, and some other rooms connected to the hotel, including Eric Walsh's home. It is on the roof of the hotel that Henry first meets Richard Braintree, a tenant of South Ashfield Heights who occasionally checked Henry's room when he was trapped.
At the end of Henry's first visit to the Building World, he witnesses Richard die from electrocution as Walter Sullivan's 19th victim.
