The Maintenance Key is found in Silent Hill: Homecoming on the first floor of the Grand Hotel, to the upper-right of the elevator shaft atop an erect object. This key is used to unlock a gate that is blocking an alley outside of the hotel. On the other side of this gate is a wirebox, which once provided an uninterrupted flow of power and electricity to the hotel. A puzzle involving this wirebox can be found, and once solved, power is restored to the hotel elevator and Alex Shepherd can continue his expedition for his brother.
