I have been wondering about if for some time. I read on Shepherd's Glen page that the founding pact of Shepherd's Glen was signed by Mason Bartlett, Cornelius Fitch, Edwin Holloway and Isaac Shepherd. But the painting inside the town hall as well as on the Shepherd's Glen and the Holloway family pages show that Edith Holloway was the one who founded the town along with other three members. Also Margaret is in the position of the judge, not her husband which could mean that the women are superior over men in Holloway family.
And I would like to ask... Is this a small mistake on that page? Or I am missing the point? I never played Homecoming but I am really interested in it's plot and history. Thank you in advance.
Sorry for not responding, I've been serverly sick this past month!
Wow, that's actually a good question! I have not played Homecoming in years so my direct knowledge of the game is a little forgoteen.
So i looked and looked for that memo that actually says that and i couldn't find it but I think that it actually is Edith who signed it. I can't say for sure until i find that document but another reason if it wasn't signed by her is because it is the 1800's when they made it and women weren't really "founding members" so her husband might of just signed it. I'll defintely have to look into Homecoming again to find that memo to see if it was an error on our part or if it actually says that!
Thank you very much for your response. And I am sorry too. For that late response. I had a really tough week behind me and I have one more exam in front of me and I completely forgot to respond to you. I would love to hear your findings.
Was looking over creator pages and noticed some were kind of sparse, so I was wondering if it would be worth expanding them if it meant talking about non-SH things in their career/life/etc. We touch on it in certain articles, and while some are always going to be longer than others, it might be beneficial to have enough information to the point where it doesn't feel like we'd be better off just linking to Wikipedia and calling it a day.
Namely, I was considering adding details regarding Scott Ciencin's death and the numerous sexual harassment, abuse, and con artistry allegations against Menton3 (particularly the latter, since anyone who enjoys his art in Past Life might be tempted to pledge his Patreon, and they should have the full story if nothing else).
That's perfectly fine! Some of the pages about SH staff are kinda outdated anyways so most of them could use a good reboot. As long as you have facts to prove it then it should be fine. You can link it within the page too as an extra source.
Hey! I've seen some swears on the wikia ("who's the sacrament NOW, BITCH?!") ("hazardsfury sucks ass") and there's a lot of "shit" in the games ("oh shit!") so I was wondering if there's stuff we're not allowed to say? I'm updating my user page and there's a word I want to use but I don't know if it's allowed. Those words aren't always censored on TV (though "shit" is more likely to be censored) but the one I have in mind is almost always bleeped. Just making sure I don't break rules.
I've no real problem with swearing as long as it's not used to insult users the whole Hazardsfury sucks ass was done in jest for example, obviously outside of context it might not appear to be. I mean shit, I've got a few swears on my profile and I'm an admin. This is a Wiki for a series what deals in pretty fucked up stuff, so swearing's not really something I'm concerned about.
Obviously when it comes to articles it shouldn't have swearing in it like the Sacrement example you gave, I've had to remove shit like that in the past.
(I know it's not a question for me but I figured I'd chime in)
Swearing is perfectly fine! We do it all the fucking time here! The only thing that isn't accepted on the wiki is obviously harassing others and swearing on pages as Riley stated above. You can put anything you like on your personal page as long as it isn't offensive ! If you need any help with anything just be sure to ask and we'll get right back to you!
When it comes to the "quotes" section on a character's page, are we supposed to list all quotes, or just those that are notable, interesting, and/or have great significance? I've always thought the other and have altered I think most characters' pages to follow along that understanding, but I wanted to ask. I can go through histories to put them all back.
