The Pickaxe is a weapon in Silent Hill: Downpour. It has good damage and range, but it lacks speed. Like all other weapons in the game, it breaks after some use, although the pickaxe can actually be used similarly to a wooden plank when the hammer breaks off; however, this is not advised due to its now very weak state. The first pickaxe is found protruding from a dirt mine as Murphy Pendleton enters the area.
