- This article is about the pachinko machine. For the similarly titled iOS mobile game, see Silent Hill: The Escape.
Silent Hill: Escape is a 2019 pachislot game published by Konami Gaming, Inc.. It is an adaptation of Silent Hill: Downpour, serving as a follow-up to Pachislot Silent Hill, released concurrently with Silent Hill: Return, and running on the DIMENSION 49J cabinet.
Gameplay[]
The cinematic content of Escape depicts Murphy Pendleton journeying through the foggy streets of Silent Hill, Maine and battling a variety of monsters, including the Bogeyman, Screamers, Weeping Bats, and Prisoner Minions. The footage is accompanied by music from the series' history composed by Akira Yamaoka. The interactivity consists of slot machine conventions: a game of chance in which a screen displaying three or more reels "spins" when the machine is activated. The objective is to make the reels align with each other, which constitutes a win. The player has the opportunity to unlock a "bonus game," themed around a confrontation between Murphy and the Bogeyman.
