Silent Hill ƒ is a novelization of the video game of the same name, written by Shiro Kuro and published by Kadokawa Group. It is scheduled for release in Japan on October 30, 2025.[1]

Silent Hill ƒ was authored by Shiro Kuro and adapted from the story written by Ryukishi07 for the 2025 video game of the same name. The physical edition was announced on September 27, 2025.[1] On October 17, Silent Hill series producer Motoi Okamoto stated that a reprint had been ordered and the novel would receive a digital release.[2]

The Silent Hill ƒ video game was designed to be played more than once to understand the story. Information was conveyed through enigmatic dialogue and multiple endings that could only be unlocked on secondary playthroughs.[3][4] Kuro not only adapted the cutscenes, but arranged the game's eclectic story into a single narrative and interweaved lore from in-game documents.[2][5][6]
