Suguru Murakoshi (村越卓, Murakoshi Suguru) is a video game designer. He is known for his work on Silent Hill 2 as drama director and animator and Silent Hill 4: The Room as director and scenario writer.
Biography[]
Suguru Murakoshi was born and raised in Saitama, Japan.[1] In 1999, he graduated from the graphic design department of Tama Art University. Later, he joined Konami in April of the same year, where he worked as a 3D modeler, art director, and scenario writer.[2] His last role at Konami was as an artist on Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.[3][2]
After leaving Konami, he joined Tango Gameworks in 2017, where he worked as a game designer on The Evil Within 2 and Ghostwire: Tokyo.[3]
Trivia[]
In Silent Hill 4: The Room, if the player turns on the radio in Henry Townshend's room, various radio broadcasts can be heard. One of them is about a man arrested for urinating on a pole in public. The radio broadcast says the man was identified as Suguru Murakoshi.[4]
