Good name?

I chose Barbie because I thought it fit the doll-like idealistic features the monster has. Just looked on Silent Hill Heaven and found a post someone made awhile after I had created the page, and they have used the exact name I chose, claiming it as their own idea. Who knows, maybe lots of people thought of Barbie too and I can't lay claim to it. Anyway... it seems people on SHH took a liking to it, so is this a good placeholder name until we get official? -- Shoggoth1890 12:13, June 7, 2011 (UTC)

It's a good name. Who knows, maybe Konami might make it official. ScorpionTail 00:15, October 30, 2011 (UTC)

I think maybe it must be siren or somthing close but Barbie is good too Черный ворон 20:31, December 11, 2011 (UTC)

...I wanted to name it Lady Gaga. —LisaGarland 03:21, February 27, 2012 (UTC)
If you named it Lady Gaga, she'd probably steal its design for her next outfit, or her next music video. -- Daleyx 18:30, March 3rd 2012

Trivia note

Hi, i just want to point that, in the trivia section, it says that she originally was naked, with a more complete face.

In fact, that look is STILL in the game, and those models are found very often in the cennetial building (in fact, i think that they are more common that the dressed ones, but it could be just me).

I wanted to delete that part of the trivia, but its better to first consult here, because i dont want to have any trouble. thanks. Bigsister 01:59, March 22, 2012 (UTC)

Doll = Nurse?

"The Doll assumes the role of the Nurse for the game." Could someone elaborate on how, exactly? Because besides the female likeness, I can't see any similarities between the two. G-reaper 01:12, April 18, 2012 (UTC)

--Hey. The Doll assumes the role of the Nurse by being the aggressive, scantily-clad female enemy in the game. They are everywhere, highly sexualized, and the Shadows even attack much like Nurses do (in swarms, with swiping movements). Anneihilation 10:56, April 18, 2012 (UTC)

Some of those attributes aren't exclusive to Dolls/Nurses. G-reaper 20:52, April 18, 2012 (UTC)

I agree with G-reaper on this... the nurses assume the roll of nurses, which is why they are their own monster. All of the monsters are aggressive, and many are scantily-clad females/ highly sexualized, since those themes appear in many silent hill games. Conjecture isn't trivia, and you can probably find connections between any monsters if you look hard enough. I too think it should be deleted. User:Carousel123 12:00 am, April 19, 2012

Nurses aren't exclusive for the role of being over-sexualised; if they were then Harry Mason's taste in women has changed a lot since his wife's death. All nursers featured in previous games have links to the protagonist, or other characters, in one shape or form. They are mainly used to make connections with hospitals, or medical institutions, and are only made sexual to some protagonists due to the manipulation of their female form-in connection with that character's desires. The 'Nurses = Sex' link is not true for every game, therefore I don't think that trivia belongs, and am removing it. Mechanoise 08:11, April 19, 2012 (UTC)

Anne Symbolism?

Might it be possible that the Dolls symbolize "the sick things" Anne had to do to get Murphy "under her watch"? ---Zantam03 (Talk) 17:37, May 5, 2012 (UTC)

I think that might be grasping at straws --あなたとの愛が このままずっと続きますように 19:04, May 5, 2012 (UTC)
