Person who plays Harry[]

Voice of Harry Mason in Shattered Memories is Kirk Thornton he is uncredited.

IMDB is unreliable. And none of the voice actors of the game are even credited. Konami can be retarded at times. --JasonChance 19:45, December 27, 2009 (UTC)

Yeah i know, i have looked everywelse for a site to back it up and the only other one that has come up with his name for this game is wikipedia, so i recon unless someone else can find a reliable source which is not wikipedia or imdb then it should be left alone for a while.

Thank goodness he wasn't played by Chrstian Bale like it said he was considered to be. He would have ruined the whole game. Another pottymouth rant towards the people who designed the game. and his annoying, raspy voice. "hi, i'm batma... I mean Harry Mason." Or maybe another rant "WHAT THE F**K I HAVE TO PLAY THE MEMORY OF SOME DEAD GUY?! YOU PEOPLE F***ING SUCK! I HATE THIS ENTIRE GAME HOLY F***! MOTHER F***! SON OF A B****! I'M CHRISTIAN BALEEEE! NOT A DEAD GUYS F***ING MEMORY! GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" I can't figure out who played him, so he must not be a celebrity voice. Whoever got the role, though, I think the executed it perfectly.--Dfskelleton 06:57, January 8, 2010 (UTC)

What books did Harry write[]

Is "Longing for the moon" one of his books

Grammar Help[]

I filled in the huge gap in the article, but I was really tired when I wrote it, and it probably had a lot of Grammatical errors. Sorry.--Dfskelleton 08:52, January 1, 2010 (UTC)

Fuse Articles[]

What's with this new wiki style? I remember back in my day when wiki editing wasn't as simple, we had to EARN the right to press save page. Anyways, should this really be an entirely different article from the original Harry Mason? I mean sure, fused articles would be unnecessarily long, but it seems odd to have two different articles for essentially the same character. Henry-Townshend 11:07, February 21, 2010 (UTC)

It's easier, more accessible and more organized in the long run to separate characters by their canon. For example, Dahlia is an evil priestess in the main canon, a sympathetic mother in the movie, and a sexy youthful manifestation in Shattered Memories. If you go to each of their individual pages and imagine them being fused into one, you could imagine how overwhelming it may be for someone who is unfamiliar to the series. It's not really that odd when you get used to it. AlexShepherd 13:35, February 21, 2010 (UTC)

Ctly=Delusion made real== Its really not clear. Cybil is alive and real, right? As well as John and his girlfriend? Then Harry Mason is made real by Silent Hill because he is a delusion that can talk to real people? Or all of them are delusions? Harrymason27 08:35, February 25, 2010 (UTC) harrymason27

Real? Well the only real thing in shattered memories is the psych sessions. Harry, the places he traverses and the people he meet are all inside Cheryls mind, memories and mental representations. Though exactly how Cheryl knows them and precicely what they represent is left up to the player in a take on Carl Jungs free interpretation. In a stark contrast to this silent hill itself and particularly the ice world strictly adhere to Freudian dream interpretations.

I'm certain the community is aware of Harry being a fake memory by now so I'm assuming the entry about Harry being a physical manifestation instead of a mental one was just overlooked and forgotten about, Ill fix it. --Jungian-horror 02:35, August 9, 2011 (UTC)Jungian-horror

False protagonist[]

Just edited and linked the page to the wikipedia's article "False Protagonist" , because Harry description and role perfectly fit the characteristics of a false protagonist, because the player is fooled to be actually controlling him, only to find out that it was actually controlling a manifestation and, during the psychiatric sessions, Cheryl Heather Mason.

That page is so inspiring, it's perfect! Its the magna esca of drama, a masterpiece, so shocking, and entertaining...

I think my next text will include one of those, No more pears fighting for redemption after dancing with the devil (which is very ironic, because not only they destroy their former ally, but take their place place in the end) , the stuff will get even more ironic this time! PLOT TWISTS, PLOT TWISTS, PLOT TWISTS!

Occupation[]

Wouldn't Harry be a Author? Since he writes books?

CherylMason12 19:02, March 16, 2011 (UTC)

He's a both a writer and an author. Writer's a better word though. Author is more like "who wrote it" instead. —AlexShepherd 22:12, March 16, 2011 (UTC)
Oh! ok I get it now

Did Harry's hair change halfway through development?[]

Yes...

Comparing the in game look, the retail screenshots, pre-release screenshots and renders, there is a notable difference in his hairstyle, it was more sleek back during early development, more symmetrical, straigther and darker, with streaks of gray, in the retail version, his hair is more, I don't know, rugged? It's lighter and parted, as well as wavy.

Did anyone else notice this? Is this trivia-worthy? --Loub 18:14, January 6, 2012 (UTC)
