MSG[]
I think the notes on MSG are misleading and not based in fact. It's a naturally occuring substance found in things like seaweed. Some have claimed to have bad reactions to it, but it's been widely reported that there is no scientific basis to assume any health problems related to it (certainly, it's not "addictive," and it has even been suggested all anti-MSG propaganda may be rooted in racism, that is, because people eat too much sodium at Chinese buffets and think it has to do with Chinese food, or some ingredient in such food). I think it may well be a play on both Metal Gear Solid and the fact that it's a food additive in a restaurant, but I think the villainizing of the "flavor enhancer" is not needed and not based on fact or science. Alchemillahospital (talk) 19:15, August 30, 2018 (UTC)

Ok, I forgot about this for a while but I just made an edit to say it's a flavor enhancer, and have removed the things that are not supported by science (that it is addictive or causes depression, etc) because I think it's unnecessarily biased. Alchemillahospital (talk) 22:29, February 4, 2019 (UTC)
