The Smotherer is a creature appearing in Silent Hill: Ascension.
Theology[]
In the beliefs of the Heralds, a splinter sect of the Foundation, the creature is considered one of the emissaries of their god, the Great Empath.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The creatures of Silent Hill: Ascension were designed by the art team at Bad Robot Games led by Chris Amaral.[2] The Smotherer was designed and sculpted by Rodion Vlasov, based on Mike Franchina's concept art.[3][4]
