Not sure what the intention behind writing this is, but I think I want to have the plan written down somewhere in case it actually happens one day and to get feedback from the people who'd be most affected by this kind of decision.
Fast forward to 2038 when Konami is finally forced to declare bankruptcy. They start selling off their IP to dig out of that hole because fucking what are they doing with any of it to begin with? Kojima gets Sony to help him buy back Metal Gear just to fuck with them, either Nintendo or Capcom or maybe even just Netflix straight up goes for Castlevania, etc.
So here I come, rockstar game developer with three successful games out of my production studio, Yoko Taroing in my identity-concealing mascot helmet, and dec…

I've been thinking about it for a while, and I was wondering whether anyone else would be interested in reading a Silent Hill anthology comic. Provided it's not written by Scott Ciencin, it seems like it could work fairly well. Since Anne's getting her own comic, this might be a possibility depending on how well it sells (how much of a market IDW sees for Silent Hill material in the future). If it's connected to the main games, it would even let us fill in the parts of the map we haven't been able to go to or have a discrepancy with. What kind of things would people want to see from this? Personally hoping for more female protagonists, and maybe a parent.Read more >

Personally, I think it would be interesting to see who they'd cast for Harry and James the most. I also want to see how they'd have done Pyramid Head in a 2 movie (they said they couldn't get the helmet to sit right in the original movie, leading to the design change. Makes me wonder if they'd change it with them directing). Thoughts?Read more >
So, with the information we have today on Downpour, a few thoughts have occured to me. For one, what happens when you have the wrong weapon? Carrying only one weapon at a time and having weapon specific paths seems like it could cause problems if it isn't planned well. For instance, how do I get through this gate that needs the crow bar to open when I've got the pistol? Do I backtrack through half the map to find the crow bar I threw down 2 areas ago? It seems like that could get very tedius.
Another thing would be the determination between when monster will appear or not. When it rains, monsters are supposed to come out. How often is it going to rain, for one? And if they give us the option to just run like in SM, there must be a hell of a…Read more >
