The woman, on the left, offering a reed to the sun.
The woman who asked for joy is an important character in the myths of the Order who helped in birthing the god. According to the myth, she offered a reed to the sun and asked for joy. Along with a man who prayed for salvation, God was born out of pity and sadness for humanity.
In a chapel of the Order, she is depicted in stained glass above the pulpit. She is to the god's left, while the man who prayed for salvation is to the god's right. When examining it, Heather Mason states:
- "It shows God and the man and woman who birthed her."
